"These hats are too small" -Noah
Chanukah 2014 Day 1. Safeway only had birthday candles. We soldiered on. Noah got marshmallows, Caleb got toothpicks... so they could make sculptures. Caleb got a Twilight Sparkle and Noah got a brand new fuzzy Dugga. Gold coins too.
Overheard on Chanukah
"These hats are too small" -Noah about yarmulkes on Chanukah.
"Does it have broccoli in it?" -Caleb on the Chanukah prayer.
"What's it called?" -Dad
"The sha-Moosh!"-Caleb

Caleb and Honey Bear
Caleb got to take home the superkindy bear named "Honey Bear"
Caleb made a journal of all of the things they did together: sharing cookies, taking turns reading books, sitting on the couch and going to sleep.

Caleb prepares flatbread
The kids all made their own food. There were stations for pie, cornucopia, flatbread, fruit salad and cinnamon apples. Dad helped each kid cut spiral apples. Caleb visited dad's station twice. He got to do two apples. Shhh.
At the feast
Dad volunteered in Caleb's class for the thanksgiving feast, mom volunteers in Noah's. Dad ran the apple slicing station.
